        $2.95 for 87 this morning...$2.99 now.

I'm too scared to look at the 93 octane. I've been feeding my car 89. That's around $3.05-$3.15.

I got it for 2.98 a gallon yesterday, and that's the lowest it's been in 2 weeks. Most of the stations vary from 2.98 to 3.07. A month ago I got gas for the bike in the morning, and gassed up the van that night for 2.87 a gallon. 24 hours later it was 3.07 at the same station! Considering the van gets about 12-15 mpg and the bike gets 35-40, guess which one I roll everywhere I go now.....

3.09 for about the last week or so.
Do you guys have these fuel discount programs that go with grocerie (sp?) stores in areas where you live?

Example= for every $50 you spend at Giant Eagle you get 10 cents off per gallon of gas at their GetGo gas place.

Want to hear something really sad? I was cleaning out an old briefcase of mine a few weeks ago and came across some old gas receipts from February 2002. I paid $1.14/gallon back then for gas! That means my normal fill-up would have been less than $20 and it cost me over $50 this week! All in the span of 5 years. Even less when you consider gas prices were just as high this time last year, too.

For the first 10 years of my driving career gas prices hovered around $1.00-1.20. In the last 5 years they've gone to over $3.00. That's not just supply and demand. Neither supply nor demand changed that drastically in the span of a few years after being flat for so long. Something's going on.

I surmise the same thing. Something is fishy in Denmark...

Got lucky last night..... took a road trip and saw a Walmart advertise $2.99 a gallon, about .5-.10 per gallon cheaper than everywhere else. When I started to pump, I saw the true price at the pump of $2.94
