I know I am an outsider in this issue but on CNN they have a story that Mexican Officials are going to be at some of the rallies. I find this both puzzling and troubling.

On a goverment level the Mexicans should be trying to make the process to get a legal citizenship easier with the US or better there own country to attract others to it in the first place.

I find it dangerous the Mexican Authorities are suporting grass root campaigns in another country (A super power at that) to make it easier for their citizens to illegally sneak into a country and take up residency there.

I am all for standing up for one another and helping out the little guy but this isn't the answer. If hispanic people want to realy help people from the countries they escaped they should try, thru organizations, to better the living conditions of those countries so people will want to stay.

I am sorry to stay it but what the Mexicans are doing is one of the reasons why America is looked down upon in other countries, but with a diffrence. It's done solely for the Mexicans own intrests not for the amarican citizens at all. It's like the Bay of Pigs with american flags not guns.

There are several groups that would love nothing more than to see the south west returned to mexico. Some of these groups are helping to organize these rallies on may 1st. One group in particular is promoting this picture As a former Marine this insults me.
