my neighbor, Mike, had a heart attack last night...

some of you met him before... in fact, he attended the first car show I ever did with my Comp T/A....

unreal. single, 52 years old... does not smoke, doesnt have more than 4 beers a month if that.... hunts and fishes all the time, always doing yard work..always active... wev'e been close friends and neighbors for 15 years.. retired 1st Sgt. with Prince William Police, highly decorated officer...

called us last night at 1:18 a.m... said he was having chest pains.. they wont go away... what do we think...? 'call 911, mike!'.. he then called a friend of his (retired cop too) who called 911 without hesitation....

mike called again at 2:30am....... "i had a heart attack..they are running some tests now.... please take car of Heinz (his german short haired pointer) for me.... ill call yall tomarrow"...... (he ment today of course)

welp, its "today"..so im praying i hear good news.

yall keep him in your prayers, he's a hell of a good guy...

i keep giving him crap about his eating habits...eats alot of red meat..."the whole thing"....big juicy rib eyes... etc... all the time! hot dogs... junk.... when i kid him he says "ah come on...summins gonna kill ya...."

Hope he will pull through ! You are what you eat. Maybe that explains why my grandmother and other people of the "Steak and Potatoes" generation have so many cardiovascular problems

My ex-girlfriend's god mom had a heartattack a couple of years ago. It's scary stuff. Glad he's hanging in there...faithful prayers out to Mike and his loved ones.

Sorry to hear the news. They will be putting him through a lot of tests in the weeks ahead to determine if anything else needs to be done. And if he is a "red meat" guy, he is not going to like what the doctor tells him about his diet.

I had angioplasty myself nine years ago because of a blockage I had and it scared the beejesus out of me. I very rarely eat red meat anymore.

they found two blockages, one pretty bad. testing to see if stints will do it, they think they will...they will keep him there a couple of more days after doing the procedure......

Thanks, Hopefully the stints will work. He is over there by himself and that's not good. Guess he'll have to start checking in with Mary so ya'll will know he's ok. Scary stuff but I'm still praying for him.
