  • Back from the track....

and not exactly pleased....well I did have a great time and was able to get in four runs and make it home to take the family to dinner, so it was a great night. The best time I put down was 14.19x at 98.xx MPH. My 60' time of 2.2x is obviously a problem. I am considering getting some drag radials so I am looking for some opinions on what to get and where to get them. I believe I would just replace the rear tires (stock 16" wheels) with these drag radials and leave them on the car. I do not drive many miles, nor do I drive in the winter or rain (unless caught)

I am also considering LCA and relocation brackets....

      I'd look carefully

About drag-radials, what are you hoping to see for the difference from street-tires to drag-radials? Here is a site that can show the difference in a carefully compared way: good street-tires vs Nitto drags vs BFG drags. There may not be as much difference as you are expecting, though...

Also, I like Nitto tires (I have a set of 12.5X35 Mud Grapplers on my ZR2 at about $285 apiece), but I wouldn't buy them, or anything else, until I'd done some extensive research. I just have a tough time letting go of my hard-earned cash! Here is a site that gives the FASTEST 1/4 mile ET on record, w/ drag-radials (BTW done w/ a turboed f-body- YEAH!):

Anyway, whatever you choose to do, GOOD LUCK! See ya!
