What would someone expect to pay for a 2002 special edition conv 6 sp with 6200 miles on it in very good shape? that good old yellow color

i didn't say 35th TA, i said 35th Firebird 1967 - 2002 -- 35 years, hence 35th anniversary of the firebird collector's edition... even though i think it only came in the TA trim

no i said above, that i didn't think it actually came in that trim, only in the trans am trim but it would still be the 35th year of the firebird, thats all i was saying

If you want to get down right technical about it. GM officially released the car as the "35th Anniversary Collector's Edition Trans Am Firebird".

Even in most parts stores today, the Trans Am parts are classified under the name "Firebird".

So everyone was kinda right....

Yeah...but in all honestly, when was the last anniversary TA? 1999 right? As the 30th? Everyone can agree on that...the white with blue stripes and blue wheels...so the 35th would be 2004. We all know f-bodies didn't get that far.

Firebirds came out in 67'...but TA's didn't until 69'.

No where on that Yellow TA does it say 35th Anniversary...sorry, but there isn't a 35th Anniversary TA. That's why it's called the Collector's Edition. There weren't any Anniversary Firebird, only TAs...but if you want to be technical yes, it would be the 35th year of production, for the Firebird line...it's just that no firebird was labeled anniversary models.

The 2002 colectors edition trans am was built to comemorate 35 years of firebird, its all over the sales literature. But it isn't an "anniversary" edition car. Still a dang cool car anyways.
