Whats faster, (1/4 Mile) and just overall

1986 Firebird 2.8 V6 5Speed Manuel (factory duel exhaust)

or

1991 Cavalier 3.1 V6 3Speed Auto (Custom Duel Exhaust, Flowmaster, 1Cat)

just a "tick" less? More like a lot less, about 700 pounds. Third gen v6 bird is about 3200#, the cav is around 2500#... I'd give it to the Cav too...

I think 3200 is a bit on the high side for a v6 third gen considering it probably has no options and is a smaller engine than a V8. My 86 2.8L MPFI firebird was only 3,075# and it had power windows, locks, hatch and T-tops. I can tell you I could smoke my buddies 90's (1994??) 3.2L cav and all I had was an aftermarket cat-back and cat delete.
