    Hey

I don't think I have worked so hard over a long weekend ever! I Drove out on Saterday to pick up the pollish, cleaned and clay bar'ed my car then over the next couple of days I put 5 coats of Zaino on (washing it at the start of each new day). I did it at my girlfiends house and her nabours must have thought I was nuts, it was cool and over cast all weekend, but I think it's worth it.

My arms feel like they are gonna fall off

The wolfman is right this stuff rocks, I don't have alot of experiance with pollishes but the most shocking think for me is just in how my car feels! It's so freak'n smooth!

I think the pain and hard work will pay off when I wake up to my car tomorrow to go to work and see it in the sun.

Anyways just wanted to thank you guys for telling me about this stuff! Great find!

What's this "Zaino" stuff?? I've never heard of it until now. I'm assuming it's a polish or wax? Let me know, sounds great!!
1996 White T/A, LT-1 auto with only aftermarket Flowmasters, shift kit, and a LG Motorsports G2 cold air kit.....that's it! She can't eat all the 'Stangs but will die trying.

It's like a pollish/wax but it's not harmful at all and it is actuly better. If you do a search you will see alot of pics and write ups about it. It is kind of expencive but it lasts for a long time.

I will try to get pics up but I may have to wait untill next weekend for the sun to shine up here

OMG Ken just 11 coats? I think I passed you up yesterday with my 02' Z.
Zaino is good stuff thats for sure. Look at my most recent Zaino pic's post. 2002 Z28 Silver with about 16 coats of Zaino. Was my daily driver for 2 years and not garage kept. Sits outside all winter long and Zaino makes it shine.

O.K., guess I better try it. But do you really need to do 10-20 coats or more?? I'm guessing we get carried away because it shines so much? Or is the more coats of it, the better? I'll go and try it anyways!

I did 5 wanted to do 6, 3 coats of the swirl remover and 2 of the pollish, when you factor in washing and going over your car with the clay bar, 10 coats in one go is alot to say the least

With this stuff the more you do the better it is but it can be done over time and not at once, on the bottles it says only do 3 coats max per day anyways.

But like I said the feel of the car is what shocked me more then how it looks

no, but when you get the hang of it, its so easy...that you want more...like tater chips....LOL... it adds more protection...it layers, unlike wax that has solvents in it.. when you apply wax, it takes the previous coats off..zaino has no solvents, and its 99.7% optically perfect, letting all the color come thru..the best wax is only around 80% optically perfect....

bugs dont stick, tar does not stick.....it kicks.

Gee, I can't wait to try it! More bonding time for me and car! Do you always have to to the beginning steps (swirl remover, bar, ect.) before applying more coats, or is that a one-time step? How much is this stuff, and where can I get it? Thanks guys!
