  • yo, Ken...

...my six Concours buffing towels came in and I'm thinking I should hand wash them first before I use them?

btw, they feel wonderful, when I showed them to a friend his jaw dropped.

yes, I plan on practicing on the SUVs first before the SS. I'm glad to hear you like the PC 7424, as you are the undisputed detailing guru.

It sounds like the ticket for me...I don't trust myself with a rotary buffer (yet), but the random orbital I trust myself with.

I wanna get the LE's paint as nice as I can before I sell her.

well, I always intended to get a 'vette after the SS, and while I do have a great deal of attachment to LE #1776, I hope to find a good home for her.

I'm undecided about getting an '07 Z06 or wait until '08 for a Blue Devil. Right now I'm thinkin' Z06, then let LPE have her when the warranty expires.

                I'll do that, Ken.

It's now a done deal...I got a call from the dealership today and they have remjoved the one obstacle from me getting an '07 Z06...the fact that last week when I picked up my '07 Suburban they told me I would have to take whatever came off the truck...something that made me very unhappy. I told them I just may have to talk to the Dodge dealership, I said I wanted museum delivery and to order it exactly how I want it.

Well, I got a call a little while ago from the dealership, and based on my VIP status there, they have convinced the general manager to let me have mine exactly like I want it, including museum delivery.

I'm walkin' two inches off the ground right now!!

by the way, here's some pics of the Suburban...

                    LeMans Blue Metallic.

gonna start compiling the list of options I want very soon.

also, gonna convert to Zaino for the Z06.

I had always said that if Zaino becomes available in stores I would try it, but that would be cutting of my nose despite my face so to speak.

So...I'm gonna suck it up and check this stuff out.

                      Sweet Suburban.

I love what GM did with the looks of the Tahoe/Suburban. It's a very clean, unassuming look. Congrats on the Z06 as well.
