  • Need exhaust system advice...

Well not exactly an exhaust system. My wife is dead set against it. My last one was ungodly loud on the freeway. In my new M6 I can keep the revs down. Also this one won't be as loud. I had an open borla on an A4 car w/ 3.42 gears before. The new one would be a Magnaflow. It's practically new and I think I can get it for $200. I'd just have to spend a day driving to pick it up.

Hmmmm, now...do I just get it and appoligize later? Unfortunately I already brought the topic up, so I can't plead ignorance. Politics...Ahhh, to be single again!

I feel your pain. I REALLY wanted gunmetal or black wheels with a chrome / polished lip. Chrome wheels are on the way. Guess which ones my wife wanted me to have.

Personal preference...LM2 might be a little too loud. And I can't argue with the price. Installed it'll be significantly less than a new one. The sound clips and appearance did me in.

The right buyer will pay a tad more for a good car with the right system already on it. I know, mods don't add value, but some of them do impress.
