Take fishing line and run it behind the molding. Hold one end of the line in each hand and slide the line up and down behind the moulding. You are kind of "sawing" it off.

Bah, paint the side moldings and Trans Am emblems black to go with the wheels and the Phoenix...it'll look pretty spiffed-out , esp. if you also do the cut-out section of the rear bumper. Just my 0.02

Those side molding are annoying the way they turn yellow, BUT thats exactly what I was thinking of doing!! I want the inlet parts of the ram air black, side mirrors black, top of the wing black, trans am emblems and the rear cutout black, and I was going to do the side mouldings myself, but I didnt know how to take them off and put them back on, how much do you think getting all those parts painted would run me? I need to learn how to use photoshop!

I have the same problem 'cause my T/A is white also, and my husband uses either Scratch Out or we have what's called Clear Cut, (I do believe that is a body shop product only, not sure) but that stuff with a little rubbing makes that door trim as white as the rest of the car. Both of the products work wonders.
1996 White T/A, LT-1 auto with only aftermarket Flowmasters, shift kit, and a LG Motorsports G2 cold air kit.....that's it! She can't eat all the 'Stangs but will die trying.
