It's right around the corner, I wrote up a little piece with some predictions on a few teams. I figure there has got to be a few people on here that wouldn't mind talking some football. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any predictions.

    Miami

Culpepper has a chance to do it big this season.. he is being put in a much better situation in miami.. chris chambers at WR is one of the most under rated receivers in the game talent wise, now he has a great QB throwing to him. Factor in McMicheal and Ronnie brown and you have several huge playmakers for Culpepper to choose from. He had of that in Minisota. Miami has a solid defense as well.. they closed out last season in solid form with a great new coaching staff led by Nick Saban. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see 30 TD's from Culpepper this year if he can stay healthy and recover from his surgury. Most will agree 20 TD's is very probable. He could be a great late round pick in a fantasy sports draft. Chris Chambers, Randy McMicheal, and Ronnie Brown now have an even bigger upside with Culpepper at QB. The addition of athleat marcus vick is also another interesting sage to follow, they have him lining up a wide out and apparently he is doing well. Miami will be the team to Beat in the AFC east.

    Dallas

Like her or not, T.O. has the ability to take a team to the next level of play. Adding T.O. into the mix takes a ton of pressure of of Jason Whitten and Terry Glen, this will open up many more oportunities for Bledsoe this year. Then factor in the multi player rushing attack led by Julius Jones and Marion Barber and you have an explosive offense and a great coach to boot. With the new upgrades on defense Dallas is looking strong in a strong division. players will need to step up if they want a shot at a division title. The NFC east is by far the strongest division on paper going into the season.

    Washington

Boasting a reciever core that is top of the line, Washington is primed at a superbowl run. With upgrades on both sides of the field they are my favorites for NFC champs and some new jewlery. I mean come on, Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd, Randel-El? That is a sick line up for any defense. Then you've got an additional problem in Chris Cooley and Clinton Portis. I don't know how Brunell is pulling it off, but he's doing what needs to be done. On paper Washington is among the strongest in the NFL, if they can stay healthy, and pull a repeat of last year with their new additions on the field, they will be the team to beat in the NFL as a whole.

    Greenbay

Coming off of a horrible season, Greenbay is in a pretty good position right now. Not much is expected of them, but they have the tools to blow those small expectations out of the water and get back on track. Ahman Green is coming off an injury, Javon Walker is gone, but Donald Driver has shown that he is a #1 wide out. With the addition of A.J. Hawk the packers will have a linebacker squad from hell with Nick Barnett, Roy Manning, and Abdul Hodge. Then their is the addition of Charles Woodson as corner which takes pressure of off Al Harris who for the past two years has been a #2 CB lining up as #1. Ahmad Carrol is also put in a better spot and will be able to further develop. With Farve coming back, and with players healthy, he should not have to force the ball so much and play from behind. Defensive upgrades, healthy players, and leadership by farve spells out a winning season for green bay and sets up Aaron Rogers for future success.

    Arizona

This is a no duh one, but for bordom's sake I'll hit the cards too. They have filled their biggest hole at RB with a top 5 RB in Edgrin James. Not only will he take pressure of the QB with a better running game, but he also is one of the best, if not the best, and blocking and picking up the blitz. With Kurt Warner mentoring Matt Leinart and one of the best pair of wide outs in the game named Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald.. the Cardinals may emerge as a new NFL power house in the very very near future. They have my vote for most improved record in 2007.. (the packers might beat them though.)

    Buffalo

They will probably still suck, but last year I called chicago's defense as being improved with a healthy Brian Urlacher.. an I'm going to try to go two for two in saying with a healthy Takeo Spikes among other players will result in the Bill's having one of the better defensive units in the NFL this year. Talk about a limb, but take a look at their draft additions as well. Both the Packers and the Bill's have surprises for you this year on defense.

How do you feel about their first round pick in the draft? How about his recent arrest? Do you think he will make an immediat impact?

I've been following this all day.

looks like a broken jaw and nose. He was real lucky. Hopefully, he'll make a full recovery soon.

As far as Holmes, he;ll make an impact, but not right away. The Steelers offense is tough for a rookie to learn. It's very complicated. Willie Reed, however, will fill in nicely as the return man. He broke Dieon Sanders record for TD returns at Florida.

          Get well Big Ben...

It is my fault. I am terrible at talking trash....something like this always happens! Hopefully all will be well.

I actually think Holmes will make a significant impact this year....if Ben is there. They are working on getting the ball down field more like when Plaxico was there. Holmes adds that dimension.

You're right about TO. He is going to have a significantly postive impact on Dallas this year.

I was a little leary about TO coming to Dallas at first, but then I quickly realized that this is a professional sport and his talent and hard work are all that matters. We don't have the right to judge his past and quite frankly who really cares anyway. We all make mistakes.

              GO COWBOYS!

T.O. is locker room fun. He'll be okay for this year. Probably be a star again. However, he'll soon be ripping Bledsoe for not giving him the ball enough. Some people are just never happy. He's one of them.

Remember when the 49ers traded him (he requested a trade) to the Ravens, then he didn't want to go to Baltimore, so he whined until he went to the Eagles, which is where he wanted to go? That honeymoon didn't last. Maybe Parcells is the coach to change him, but I don't know... I just don't have patience for guys like Owens. I work my tail off all week, almost can't afford to even go to a game, and he pouts about his contract he JUST SIGNED. Sickening....

I hear ya. If there is one coach in the league that can change TO's tune, it is the Tuna. Parcells will not mess around with TO's belly aching and/or dogging his teammates. Hopefully TO can grow and change here in Dallas.

It really is amazing at how player's attitudes can change under a new coaching staff. I've always been amazed at how Coach Gregg Popovich has changed many of the players that had not so pretty past's that came to the Spurs.

Hopefully, for your sakes (Cowboys fans), he doesn't do to you what he did to the fans in San Fran and Philly. He held both organizations hostage until his demands were basically met. Sure, Philly did the right thing by suspending him for the remainder of the season, but in the end, he got what he wanted.

Parcells should make an impact on him, but we can only wait and see if it lasts...

Another quick note about Roethlisberger - Looks like he may be ready for training camp. Lucky... Very, very lucky if that is the case.

Glad to hear Ben is recovering. I have to admit, it is nice to not wear a helmet while riding, nevertheless I always wear mine just because of this.
