  • a wolf and an industructable ball......kinda

ook the golden retrievers in the house and left Keona outside while i chilled and drank a brewski and read a mag this eve..... of cource, you never know with her so the Fuji was sitting by my side....

so she happens to lay by Rockies favorite ball, its one of those industructable hard as nails rubber ball..... first she checks it out...then starts chewing on it, chewing all the little rubber spikie things off... then when i went down there to retrieve it... she gave me this "please...dont take it..Im having fun" look... i could'nt be the mean man so i let her keep it... (bet Rocky will be p!$$ed when he see's his ball later..... :secret: )

just goes to show you that the "big bad wolf" is not realy........."the big bad wolf"...eh? LOL At one point, i witnessed her compress the thing to 2/3's its size.... that was......scary....the jaw power is unreal.

In my experience, when it comes to dogs, nothing is indestructable. I'm sure that's especially true with wolfdogs!!

My St. Bernard loves his chew toys too...he can take out the biggest Nylabone in the store in about 2 weeks.

I can't get over how much longer Keona's canine teeth are than his!!

Those King Kong toys they have at Pet's Mart and Target are the only things I have found so far that my boy can not finish off in the same day I buy it. He also loves tennis balls but he pops them on the first bite.

Those Nylabones are history in a matter of hours. It takes him a few weeks to destroy those King Kong balls and bones.

Thanks! He is one smart cookie. He is a professional excape artist. When he was just a pup, he figured out how to jump our 5' fence on both sides of the neighbors fences. Then when we built a higher fence, he learned to get a running start and jump off of a pecan tree right up against the fence and clear the new fence. Then our neighbors put in a doggy ramp in the lake so their dogs could get out of the water by themselves. He then figured out it was easier to just jump in the lake, swim over to the neighbors doggy ramp, swim out and go through their yard out the front. They don't have a fence in the front.

Now my other neihgbor next door just got a new female blue tick hound and he has now figured out how to open our gate by the water. He just takes his nose and flips the little latch up and open.

I also think he has reduced the local squirrel and cat population a little also!

I tell everybody he is smarter than half my friends! lol
