I'm from California so I can tell you of some sites.
A must see in my trips is the Sierra Mountains Sequoia National Park, a true wonder of Nature! The trees are immense... the diameter of the branches are 6 feet
. I've camped there several times (you could rent a cabin also) and probably is one of places I truely miss most about California. This is a must see
After the the sierra's is owens vally, there are some natural hot springs that are fun to take a dip in
Death valley ... badwater (lowest point in werstern hemisphere), abandoned mines, abandoned towns, Scotty's Castle, Devils golfcourse, furnace creek , 20 mule team carrying borax
Near Death Vally, is the Meteor crater (Just inside Arizona)
Oh I didn't see it on your list ... Grand teton national park ... a must seee
