    talked to a wolfdog friend in North Dakota yesterday, hit over a 100 there...same with Montana... here in va, it reached 100 yesterday..heat index today is gonna be 110........

    glad i go the kiddie pools filled for the dogs... they will remain indoors most of the time though. shaaaazam...... summers here.

      We're supposed to hang in the lower 100s this week. It makes me nocturnal.

        It's oppressive all over the country. Even though it's been said a million times... It's the humidity, not the heat. I can tollerate a hot day, as long as the humidity doesn't reach above the 80% mark.

          Ironically, I have lived in South Carolina (greater Charlotte area) for over five years now and I can't remember a 100 degree or above day. Upper 90's yes.......and extended periods of time with high heat and humidity too. But it just seems a little strange that we don't break the century mark.
