My god. Ricer wanna-be stories of how fast they are is amazing. Evidently they are under the impression that a mid 17 second quarter mile Prius has the ability to beat: Sport Bikes, Vipers, other supercars too. Denial is such a sad state of affairs.

This posting made my crappy day. I read every single post in that thread and had several laughs. I emailed the link to my Cousin who has an '05 Prius. He called me almost immediately. He said the car is fantastic for what it was built to do... save gas. However, he wouldn't dream of racing anyone, including a Chevy Luv.

The most hysterical was the claim of beating a Mustang 5.0 "up a hill and around a corner".
