Me and Mary's anniversary. Second marriage for both of us....our first ones kinda stunk.........
she's a car chick...some of yall old f body folks know our history of f body involvement...... we were up to our alligators in it.. we organized the origianal f body skyline drive cruise, and hosted it for 6 years. our fondest memories of all. thats why i thought it appropriate to post these two pics, after all ...yall have seen enough of me... my avatar and the hulk hogan stuff...LOL....
we retired from the car scene to put forth our efforts and money towards rescue.... Mary drives a 2004 Envoy now..and loves it.. her last performance car was our 97 Firehawk, the last LT1 Firehawk made, no. 132. And she can drive too.
We worked hard over the years, I was the co founder of the Comp TA Owners Association and President of the Mid Atlantic F body Assoc. as well as founder, Mary stood beside me and worked in the background the whole time... covering my bases when I needed em covered.......
it's funny, when we had to say goodby... we found out who our real friends were, and they are still "there"......the others drifted away...
I found out today there's a book being written about the Firehawk and the different gatherings that happend over the years, and I was most honored to find out that Mary and I are mentioned in it. It's funny how fast people move on and the good times become a fog of memory...... not us. We will always be thankfull for the good time and good folks we met an became friends with.
I tried the Envoy route, but it just wasn't me.....Im a Pontiac perf. guy...from way back...hence forth....the 05 goat.
So anyhow...enough with the gut spill.....wanted yall to see a pic of the woman behind the wolfdogs......the 5'10" Swede........my wife of 21 years......Mary:
the pink cow robe was owned by an x professional wrestler named Rajin Cajin... it was ups'd to a bunch of different f body events for folks to put on get pics..kinda a tradition. Rajin is no longer with us........passed away 3 years ago..... his wife, who went by "ladyhawk" is still doing the car thing...carrying on ...they both had firehawks......
and yup...she's getting ready to hit this friends SS with some Zaino Z6... he had some bad bug splatters he left on......LOL

and here's the two f bodies that took us on many journeys...and made many friends...from the Pontaic Nationals to tons of local event......to Mary toasting local stangs to thier surprise and me ......well.......just doing crazy stuff.....had the motor out and rebuilt this bad boy.......LOL
My 97 CompTA on the left, build no. 139 of 164 and her 97 Firehawk...#132... tag: HER HAWK
the guy in the red hat might look familiar to yall......

anyway...taking tomarrow off to stay home with her....getting a new washer delivered in the morning (how romantic is that!!!!) then the rest of the day is ours...... she did promise me i could go to the gym though ! LOL
