  • Had that magazine photo shoot/race yesterday....

i didnt bring my camra cuz i figured id be racing the whole day. well the trip down there stunk, got stuck on the garden state parkway. took 4 hrs to get there, ~40 mile back up for one exit but once we got there it had to be in the 100s maybe even close to 110. there was 6 of us, no maros just birds . well i went down there with a messed up tranny(no Reverse) well on the third run, i did the 2-3 shift, heard something bang really loud and got off of it. drove down the track, didnt feel anything loose or rattlin, so i parked it(ran a 17.3 at 55mph ) i was more mad cuz the best i could get was a 15.8 but it was hot and i was kinda dogin it to save it. well driving home the shifter was going up and down under accel. i think i torn the tranny mount, but its gonna wait till i find a tranny for the car, cuz i also took out 3rd(wouldnt go in after the bang). but enough, heres some pics

I counted about 8 complaints and 7 excuses. Sorry about the 15.8. I once ran me a 22.4 but there was a 50 mph head wind and I had no traction the whole way and lifted twice

        How did the Italians do?

Come now, be nice..... it was brutal hot, the runs were all uphill and in hurricane force headwinds, the moon was not in the right position and there were timing light errors. Besides that, the aliens had a tractor beam focused on the car that kept him from going wide opern throttle. They are pesky like that.

from what I understand, Mrs. Bandit has recently learned to drag race their Xth hawk and is quite a natural.

Sal wants to downplay it though, saddens me, the man can't be sucessfull and have a nice car without people saying "oh look.....there goes our money".....when in fact, it just goes to show you how truly fine his products are, to have sold that kind of volume and continue to sell that kind of volume, not to mention he sold his 04 z06 and some other stuff before he got that gt....... id rather order polish from a guy that owns a ford gt than a dodge ram pick up anyday......

Those red F430's are absolutely beautiful! They sound incredible too. Maybe one day. I like that yellow Gallardo also, I just wish Lambo would have picked a little different wheel. Still an amazing looking ride.

                          Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Hi guys.. Yes that was my wife and I in the pictures.. Matter of fact those are copies of my pictures from the event. It was a very hot day, but still fun.

Kim and I took turns running the best we did was 13.0 for the last 3 runs. The car runs mid 12's on a cool day. Thanks for the video.
