Do those license plate covers that deflect the photo radar cameras really work?

If they do, do you guys know of a place to get one? I found one but it was like 48$ for this little peice of plastic an who knows if it works.

Well, yes and no. The plate cover is basically like polarized lenses. At any angle beyond about 45º, the details of the plate get hazy and difficult to read. The problem is that most cameras will be focused on your plate at an angle less than 45º so you'll likely get busted anyway.

You are missing the point..... the camera angles are too close to straight on for the plate to work.

Better yet, DON"T RUN RED LIGHTS...... Then you won't need the stupid plate.

I never run red lights but We have like 600 something speeding cameras in our city and they make it impossible to have any fun on the road.

I think that's probably the point of the speeding cameras.

Anyway... as Joe stated, they rarely, if ever, work against cameras. You are better off saving the money and head to the local track to let your car loose.
