Yeah I've actually decided to upgrade my car based on what this guy did. I hate to be a 'copy cat' but his plan was ingenious. I saw this and I was totally floored. I'm going to do exactly what he did except instead of the LT4 intake manifold, I'm going to put a fat blower doin 14.5 psi per cylinder. My first step is getting that ford rear end to fit into my trans am. I posted something in the techy section on what I'd need to do.

        nobody replied though

I hope everybody who ran out and got the 2006 Z06 read this article and poo'd their panties. Even without a nitrous shot, that Trans beats a Z06 by a tenth of a second.

If you are planning on running that much boost.... I hope you do a "couple" things different than he did.... Or you will be doing it again. He is running 10.5:1 compression.

I'm probably not going to run boost... it kinda scares me. I mean, I love the speed and all but to me I don't like it when I'm not in complete control of the car. When you hit the nitrous, you got anywhere from 100-400 extra horses that you gotta hold down til it burns up, and you don't really have a choice. I don't like that idea. Say what you will.

But any other suggestions would be very helpful. A good friend of mine's dad is the manager of a local machine shop and can bore my block. I'd like some more information on what I need to do to get that done.
