  • Teenagers!

The weather was so nice I drive the Z to work today. We have indoor parking at work. I decide I'm going to take advantage of the sunshine and go to KFC for lunch. I park in a end spot within view of a window. I order and sit down where I can watch my car.

Along comes a 4 door spec full of 5 young (15/16yo) HS kids. They park right next to my car, even though plenty of other spots are open. I watch them get out with a knot in my stomach and they did manage to not hit their doors into my Z. The two that get out on my side do however feel the need to get fingerprints all over the top of the door and the quarter panel gaulking at it. They were holding the top of the door, looking inside, etc.

I got lucky, fingersmudges I can clean up, thankfully they didnt make any permenant marks. Why did they feel the need to park next to it and put their hands all over it? They could of parked in the next spot over, and not had a car on either side.

They came in, ordered and sat next to me by chance. I told them I saw them with their hands all over my car and they should be more carefull not to touch things that don't belong to them. They just stared at me confused. kids.

You handled it all wrong. You should have gone over there and just started eating out of their plates - whatever you wanted till they got all shook up and their eyes got big. Then tell them not to ever mess with your car ever again or you're going to call up your friend who isn't nice like you..

man that's nothin. I like how when people see a bike in a parking lot, they think it's ok to sit on it. I've had that happen a few times. Like what are they thinking leaning on, touching, or sitting on anybody's bike/car? I don't think it's so much teenagers, I never did that stuff, but just stupid people.

I'm sure that would of gotten their attention! I was considering taking my hands and putting big handprint smears all over their windshield.

If that happenned to me, I would detain them and call the police and tell them that they were trying to steal it and you saw them messing with the wires and trying to break the steering lock.

Here's an example not related to cars. I hear the sound of someone running up and down the office stairs. I hear many 'thuds'. It's annoying as hell so I walk out in the entryway to see a child, totally without parental control, running up and down the stairs. Jumping down the last few stairs. He's running in and out of the dental office next door. I stop, look at him as he's playing with the lock on the door. I say "Why don't you stay inside!" WTF is wrong with parents. They need supervision. If the kid had fallen and broken his ass, they would be the first to try to sue us for negligence.

I yell at or scold people's kids right in front of them in the middle of public if it's needed. Chances are the parents were spoiled brats too who messed up raising their kids. A little humiliation does them good.
