What was Hughes thinking about not trying to take the fight to the ground. Only two attempts the whole fight. Despite what he thinks he is not a good stand up fighter. St. Pierre totally dominated the stand up. Did he forget his wrestling roots? BJ Penn was also winning the stand up and the ground when he fought Hughes before he gassed badly.
Silvia is the dullest fighter, the UFC heavyweight division is poor. The Pride heavyweights would crunch them.

Hughes Got Whooped nasty. That was one swift kick to the head from Pierre. Hughes was rocked ever since round one. It was all down hill from there.

Hughes looked like he ate a knee going for a take down, it rocked him and georges finished him. I don't know why he tried to stand up either, it reminded me of the lidell babloo fight.. what are these guys thinking? I'd like to see a rubber match.

BJ Penn didn't gas agaist matt, Arcticle. He wants a rematch, which would also be a rubber match, and might happen now that hughes has lost to St. Pierre.

Some of those under card fights were wild! And yes, other then middle weight, pride dominates UFC.

Thanks for the update. I am suprised he even continued under those conditions. Look foward to seeing him fight again in the future, he has some superior ground skills.
