    4 years ago today..

    a special wolfdog was born at Southern Breeze wolfranch in Fla. I got the call immediately from Sissy, the owner/breeder, that my new girl had been born. I spent the next 5 weeks in VA hardly sleeping...LOL...at 5 weeks old, she came to live with me and the bond has grown very strong, ours is tighter than any other in our family/pack...

    She made for a cute pup. She's grown into a beautiful animal.

    How do people at Petsmart react to a wolf marching into the store?

    Must be pretty cool walking around with her.

      she's been quite a hit there. she loves the ladies... they kneel and pet her and gets kisses. does not like large men... and wont let them pet her....without some serious sniffing to insure they are "dog people" and can be trusted. my biggest problem is keeping children from running up and trying to pet on her right away quickly reaching out for the top of her head.... thats a no no... i teach them the proper way to pet a strage dog...palm up...slowly, allowing to be sniffed first.

        I got to see her in between, she would've been almost 6 months old at Skyline '03.

        she's a beauty for sure.

        btw, today is my youngest sister's b'day...Pearl Harbor day.

                Hard to believe it's been 4 years. I remember meeting Nikona (summer 2002) and then Keona (at the same time a Gaussian) . I bet as a proud owner, you'd like another wolfdog... how in the world does Mary stop ya

                  well...its more common sense than anything... with 3 goldens..another wolfdog would make 5 animals. mary can barely keep up with the pack as it is.
