I've seen what Joe is talking about here in Atlanta. When I bought my first house in 1987 all of my neighbors spoke English. In 2001 when I sold it not one of them spoke English. When I bought it all of the houses were neat and clean. the yards were kept up. The cars were parked in the garages with the doors closed. When I moved out there were cars parked all over the street. The garages were converted to living space for relatives. My new neighbor dropped his fence so he could get several cars into the backyard. When I walked out my back door I saw a stack of 4 wheel drive tires and 3 broken down vehicles. The guy behind me brought his chickens with him. 2 were dumb enough to jump the fence. My dog ate both of them. I saw him take a rooster off the top of the fence one day. What used to be nice grass in the yards are dirt now because of parking cars over it. One night the neighbor was having a party and about 30 of them were dancing in a train around the front yard at 1am. They had their Mexican crap music cranked up to 150 decibels. When I bought my next house I paid almost $250,000 for it in a neighborhood that is priced beyond the means of them to pool their money and buy in. It's been hard on the wallet but I had to get out of the neighborhood. Gangs were growing all over the place. Graffiti was everywhere. It was a daily chore to clean the graffiti off wooden fences. Fights were breaking out every day at my daughters school. I went to pick her up one day and witnessed one. No it wasn't the whites or the blacks. It was usually Latino females fighting over their man. It's hard to drive around here now because of the Latinos. The ones that do drive travel at half the speed limit. They go down an entrance ramp to a highway and at the bottom they are doing 40 and expect the traffic on the freeway to move out of their way. They drive in the left lane at 10-20 mph below the speed limit. The ones that don't drive jay walk all over the place. The city of Chamblee (nicknamed Chambodia) has had so much problem with people getting hit while jay walking that they have now built cross walks in-between the traffic lights on Buford Highway when they are too far apart. I guess traffic will have to stop for them now that they are in a cross walk. If anyone wants a ladder just come to Atlanta. One falls off a painting van every day here.

In my town, as of 2004, we are the second largest population of Brazillians per capita. Again... I have no problem with the legals. I do have a problem with illegals, and even some of the legals who refuse to change for this country. They expect it the other way around.

Normally I would keep quiet, but I'll tell you what I have issues with. (flameproof suit is on and ) Down here in Florida I have watched developments over the last 30 years and I'm pissed. Little by little, Mr. and Mrs. Senior Citizen dies off and the property/ home is sold. First to someone a little younger, then it's sold again when they move away due to business transfers, upgrading, etc...... That last sale is to Mr. and Mrs. latino immigrant who decides to make it their family residence. That by itself is no problem, but their "family" includes; Grandma and Grampa, 3 sisters and their husbands, plus a couple of cousins along with their kids. What starts as single family dwellings with maybe a family of 3 or 4 turns into a literal multi family dwelling that houses 12 people. The neighbors get pissed and one by one, move away. As they do that, more foreign families pool their money and the cycle picks up speed. I've watched countless middle class neighborhoods go down the toilet without any end in sight. A few years ago, I visited what was a nice middle class neighborhood in Ft. lauderdale where I lived in the early 70s. We left as the above mentioned practice started to take hold. I didn't even recognize the place, it looked like a war zone/crack house central. Wrecked cars parked everywhere, bars on the windows when there were windows...... many just contain plywood. Wring from spray cans all over buildings, trash strewn about.........I've watched this process over and over in the last 30 years and I'm getting sick of it. Before anyone even tries to play a racist card toward me...... forget it. My girlfriend is Puerto Rican, so do even go there. Even now, when I bought my home in 94 it was a retirement area and I was one of the lone younger people who moved into the area. Now, on my block half of the families are from Latino background and it's picking up speed. Don't even get me started on the illegal immigrants from mexico that work in the orange groves and other fields. I usually get stuck behind a regular passenger van containing 12 Mexicans doing half the speed limit virtually every day. It makes be shiver to think that it's doubtful that any of them even have a driver's license. They show up at malls, the local Walmart, the grocery store in a large ex-schoolbuses and decend upon the store. None of them speak a word of English yet they are allowed to work, drive and god knows what other services that they participate in that is funded by you and me. The money greedy grove owners could care less as long as they can pay them cheaply and under the table. It's a nightmare that isn't going to go away.

There needs to be some serious attention focused on this cycle. I know people that are retiring here in the states some are moving to other countries. Why? It seems like everyone else wants to come here, yet we can take our accumulated wealth and retire like royalty in other countries. There is a problem with that, folks. Until the rest of the world comes up with standardized economics and policies, we're all going to get bought out, squeezed out and forced to move elsewhere. I know that if I were to retire and move elsewhere, I would learn the language. Ya know the old statement "When in Rome......." I damned sure wouldn't expect a foreing country to convert everything to the American language just to suit me. I damned sure wouldn't expect handouts or aid, I would become one of their population.

And for gosh sakes, they want to come over here and live, learn our language!!!! I'm sooooo sick and tired of them expecting us to learn spanish to accommodate them. BIG problem here in Charlotte, too.

Ok you guys lost your train of thought. This video wasn't about ILLEGALS, it's about LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Illegals aside, that we already know is a huge problem.

And I find it funny that I live near detroit, we have a huge latino population, and i've never had any problems with them. I never have to deal with accents, or people at stores that don't speak english. I called sprint and dealt with a latino I couldn't understand, that was the last instance I could think of.

The fact is it seems as if most of you have a problem that the country is getting more and more diverse. If this country were 70% latino's, that spoke perfect english, etc... You would STILL have a problem. Because they are NOT WHITE. That's what it sounds like. This country was BORN on immigrants. Nobody that took over this land was a native to it.

And give me a break with the gang bangin' BS, there is MUCH more white trash in this country. Whites are still the majority. Every race has it's garbage, leave the latino and black gang bangers out of it, because that goes across the board, white's included.

I'm using the word trash in regards to ALL races. My point was EVERY RACE has trash. For anyone to bring up immigrants and associate them and them alone with gang banging, violence, etc.. is ridiculous.

I've spent many weeks at a time in West palm when I'd go with my ex gf to visit her mom. I didn't seem to have a problem with them, neither did her mom and stepdad.

That is False. It is one of the largest growing populations, but nowhere near the largest concentration. The farther south you go, the more concentrated it becomes. The Miami/Ft. Lauderdale areas are insane. I just moved from the Palm Beaches in December 2001. It was my second tour of duty, I lived there in the early 90s and again in the late 90s. What a radical difference in that one decade. Why did I leave? Remember 9/11? I worked inbetween the two post offices that got contaminted by Anthrax, the apartment complex that the FBI raided that belonged to the Islamic extremests was two blocks down the road, The beautiful regional mall with high dollar shops that I worked in became a hangout for the latino gangs, even our company pulled it's location out of there due to increasing crime and our client base being forced out of the area. When it gets to the point that there are armed guards observing the parking lot from watch turrets on top of the buildings, you know you've got a problem. All this was a radical departure from the mostly quiet middle class areas from not too long ago.
We lived in a nice section of Ft Lauderdale in the early 70s, that place is now like a war zone. I won't even go to Miami anymore. Down there many of the signs are now in Spanish out of necessity. If I wanted to live in Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti, China, Israel or Saudi Arabia I would move there. Since I don't live there and don't really wish to at the moment, I don't want it to follow me here and have it forced on me. Ironically, I want to go to China, to russia, to Spain.... I love the world's diverse cultures.

For what it's worth, it's not about "problems with them". It's about the way citizens buy single family dwellings only to have those laws broken by their new neighbors and nothing is done about it. Go buy a house in a middle class neighborhood for $230K (you finance it), and watch as an immigrant family pools their dough and buy up the property all around you. The next thing you know next door there are 5 families, 3 chickens and 6 dogs, cars parked all over the place in various stages of disrepair that turn your 230K investment into a depressed neighborhood that declines in value. Now you owe $150K on that house that the market value has dropped to $150K. Now the only way is to cut your loss and move to another area. Soon, the problem follows you again. Then you'll see that there is a problem. It's also about illegals taking jobs, it's about immigrants who don't want to learn English or assimilate themselves into society, they want us to those already here to change. They are accomplishing that very thing. I'm sorry to say this, but when all the street signs were being changed to spanish down south, we got the hell out of there.

To add to that, there are many uneducated people that think the way to get make more money is to have more kids so that the welfare check increases. Now there's an intelligent method. Our tax dollars going to good use. The baby sitter I had for my son back in Palm Beach was from Nicaragua. I got an insiders view of the whole thing. Everything from family relations to culture. And yes, you guessed it...... Her and her three kids live with mom and dad, a brother and sister plus grandma and grandpa all in a small single family dwelling. I lived it and continue to live it as my girlfriend is Puerto Rican. Well, OK... a Puerto Rican born in the Bronx. Still of Puerto Rican decent, but she says she is a New Yorican. Even she gets frustrated with the mentality of many of her kin.

Sorry, but I've watched too many nice communities down here go to hell. It's only getting worse because nobody wants to deal with the issues. The problem will continue to grow until a point in the future that the entire world population will be intermixed. There needs to be a single common language, a single common currency, a single common government and hundreds of billions of dollars spent on educating people the necessity of population control, morals and social skills. That ain't gonna happen anytime soon so everyone is on their own.

The problem is that the human species is grossly intolerant and hateful, it's evident everywhere. Look at Iraq...... it's not a security problem, it's an ethnic hate problem. How many places in this world have ethnic tension and war? We're damned lucky to live here and things need to be done to ensure that this country doesn't go by the wayside.
