  • gotta share these wolfdog pics with yall! awesome animals!

good friend of mine, lives on the NC/VA border ...western part of the states... she's one of the most knowledgeable wolfdog and wolf people i know... her animals are incrediable. she has some low content and some mids... but her high contents, are just unreal..... soooooo domesticated. Today she had some visitors.... they couldnt believe how freindly these animals were. one pic cracks me up....lady looked pretty scared.. its pretty obvious which pic it is...LOL

anyway... here's several of Sue's pack.... as you can see, a couple of them are pretty big boys...... my fav is Avatar.... he's just awesome. all growed up now...met him when he was a little boy...

when i retire, i will be leaving suburbia shitta to make a place for us like this, only in warmer weather. and i shall have some very high contents. someday..is comming sooner too. yall will have to visit!

this is him (Avatar)...he's in other pics too

    and my favorite..LOL

he's whats known as a black phase. believe it or not, he was born solid black, as he gets older, the tips of his fur turn white. as time goes on, the white keeps tracking inward until he turns that color. hence forth "black phasing into white"... awesome.

That's pretty neat! I didn't know that occurred in dogs, I did know that the "greying" process occurred in horses, though. A foal will be born, you think it will be black, and it starts to "grey", turning more white every year. In the end, it will most likely be solid white. So neat!

Nice looking canines- you can just see the intelligence in their eys- speaking of which, I can't but help notice the piercing look- that is a trait they try to breed into shepharding dogs, the "glare" look that can make the herded animals just shy away-

I would love to look into their eyes, but I know that looking eyes with one is a challenge.

Have you sold all your wolf-hair shawls, yet? Wish I had the extra cash to get one, but not now. Would make a great gift for a dog-lover
