Pinks, knife to a gun fight

I just watched a Pinks episode where they had a race between a Honda and a Mustang with Chevy power.
Isn't that like bringing a knife to a gun fight. The Honda was totally outclassed as anyone with any racing knowledge knows. They probably built the Ford for about 10 grand and most likely had twice that in that Honda pooper and it still had no chance.
