welp...Sal's new products are released......got mine today: using the clear seal on the goat when the weather breaks. the all in one i will try on the Envoy...since it is my wifes EDD.

it tested 2 proto types of the clear seal prior to their release, and Sal told me this is the finished product...so if its better than the proto's, which its supposed to be.....i cant even imagine how cool this stuff is....cause those proto's were awesome..on everything i used them on.

and I want to thank Steve from Tropicare for the sample kit that came in at the same time!!! awesome!!!

i feel like im cheating on my wife!!!! hahahaaha....1st time since 1998 that another detail product has been in my house after my 3 week test of Zaino which went online and reeled me in to using nothing but!

i plan on (with warmer weather)....stripping the hood of the commuter van, using the PC buffer with the swirl remover after claying, and do a very controlled detailed picture supported step by step few days by few days test of TC's system....just like i did with Zaino in 98. The products look very nice, have a nice fragrance too!...labeling is attractive and line up of available support products is most impressive! I will do a link off my home page and post a complete write up with pics of the whole test, which will take around 3 weeks... includes 5 min. cold water rinse, gloss maint., durability, resistance to fine debris chipping, layering capability, affect of washing, the whole nine yards. all the details including ambient temps, road conditions, vehicle speeds, will be included. Im a certified SAE tester.... i wont leave a variable in there if possible. Durability is the primary factor here for my personal use. I will monitor it closely.

I'm looking forward to it! should be fun.... and I admire anyone who steps up to the plate with the goal of achieving superior automotive detailing products.

So, Z-CS doesn't replace Z2 or Z5. But it supposedly lasts longer, has the same great look, and is easier to apply? On top of that you can also use it on plastic trim and glass? What's the down side? I suppose it doesn't help with swirl marks as well as Z5.

It's nice to see Sal bring out something that responds to what might have been the one weakness in his products. While I don't believe it was overly complicated, a lot of folks seem to have quesitions about what to use and when.

My only question now is...why go on using polish-lok, Z5, and Z2?

even says on the bottle.... the new stuff is for everyday drivers.....ie: its not intended for anal detailers. i wont be using it on the gto. zfx/z5pro for me..thanks.

no...the clear seal wont fill swirls. its a super gloss cosmetic protectant. it sure made my instrument cluster shield look good! also the interior plastic trim in the gto and woodgrain in the Envoy.
