Well the unthinkable happened....my car was stolen. While I was at work, they took it right out of the parking lot The cops said that being so close to Philadelphia, that the chances of getting it back were very slim. So it being my only car i had to have the insurance make it a total loss. Well i got a new car with the money. Although its not my first choice, the guy i bought it from sold it to me for wholesale. (my buddy's dad, is a co-owner of a car dealership). Its a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T, 71,000 miles. Got it for $5900. I figured it was a pretty good deal. And so far i'm pretty happy with, its very comfortable and i like the syling and interior...buts its SO slow compared to the bird oh well i'll make do

Well, I've read about Joe...so it makes my situation a lot less dramatic.....give him my prayers wolfman, i hope he feels better.

So has any good news happened since i've been gone?

Heres a thought:
Usually people steal cars to strip them down & sell their parts. Since F-Body parts dont typically cost that much, they go for more profitable targets. Accords, SUV's, Toyotas, etc. Just an idea.

that stinks man. but hey least u got a half decent replacement. i was lookin at those. had 17s, black, tints, yada yada yada. what motor u got in there? i think the one i looked at had the 3.5? in it

Its a 3.0 V6(200 hp, 205 lb. ft tq.), auto....black. 17" wheels. Its the R/T model....def. doesn't desrerve that name though. But i'm not disappointed, i knew what i was getting. Its just a differnt car altogether from the firebird. Maybe If i get another shot at a promotion (last chance went to someone else ) I'll be able to keep this car as a D.D. and get an LS1 bird or vette or even the new camaro when it comes out
