Living in the middle of nowhere New Mexico I have to exaust every resource to try and find a RWHP rating for my car as there isn't a dyno anywhere in sight. My Vector FX2 is telling me 353 RWHP and yesterday I raced a charger SRT 8 with headers, exaust, and intake. We stayed side by side from 50mph to about 115 mph. I know racing out on the street is not the way to go, but out in BFE NM it's probably alot safer than other places. My question is does the 353 RWHP sound correct. The charger has 425 at the crank plus maybe an additional 35 HP with the mods, and we stayed pretty even. What do you guys think? Oh and the charger also weighs 4160 to my 3700.

SFC( not sure what kind), drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, all free mods, 3" Borla cat back exaust, electric exaust cut out, NGK spark plugs, royal purple motor oil, and Zaino .Maybe more. I find more stuff done to it everytime I look at it. -
Interesting. That seems like it would have alot more work done to keep up with a Charger. I raced the Big Wig here at my work that has an SRT-8 300M.
Pretty impressive, but yeah we were pretty much dead even (he pulled about a foot). I would say your pushing close to 350hp at the crank but not at the wheels. I dont know maybe its just me.Eddie

I am not sure what has been done to my car, because I bought it used. Someone took alot of time to do things to it and keep it in good shape. My engine also has parts on it that corrispond with an LS1 of a newer year then my car. My car was made in early 1999, but has a water pump like that of a 2000+ LS1 so I really don't know. All I have to go by is the Vector FX2 and the fact that I kept up with a modded charger SRT-8.1999 Ram Air Trans Am. M6
