Town half flooded.

just got back in.the townis half flooded. dirt roads washed out, roads washed out. one road called river road is underneath well the river now. theres three ways in this town to get over the rive and one of them is closed cuz its flooded. and the other 2 are on either side of the town. then one of the roads is half closed cuz of mudslide and the house that moved 10 feet. took a couple back roads to get to my gfs house and one of them goes over a brook well i thru it in 4wd and forged it, got lucky, was only bout 6" deep. and towards th end of it, was all washed out, well i thru it into 4wd Low and crawled thru the mud. ill get pics up at some point, right now im off the the sand pits to play in the mud with some friends

How has everyone been in the northeast? Hopefully staying safe if your town is one of those flooded. I can't imaging having a daily commuting F-body in some of this. If you do, be careful! They will not like the high waters.

i took some pics with my digital from my truck. i went into the water but didnt go much farther then the water halfway up my tires.

All kinds of trees down here 60+ mph gusts. High waters in the bay nearly covering some Jetty's here

A local Toyota dealership is under water again (88Bird knows which one I'm talking about). This will be the second time in seven years they lost most of their inventory.

Update: Some of them anyway. There were two brand new Camrys and a Scion XB that were destroyed. At least that I know of so far. My brother's friend works as a mechanic there and I just talked to my brother about it. It's good that they moved most of them across the street then. At least they learned from last time.

It was just two days of constant hard rain. Good news is it washed a good amount of the winter sand/salt off the roads.

yea cept the mall still has snow mounds in some spots. i cant wait till they reopen river road here in new milford. thats gonna have some nasty mud holes to play in. apperantly the mudslide that happen, didnt move the house, the house is holding the hill up so far. but my guess is that the three houses that are there are gonna get condemed and that hill is gonna get reinforced some how. it hasnt been a stable hill for years under the top soil is nothing but rock so nothing is really holding it there
