My thoughts exactly. If I could ride a bike to work, saving money, miles and getting a good workout in Georgia humidity...I would too.

correct..... to a point. For example, the car breaks down. Your negative battery cable is seperating from the terminal end and causing an intermittant connection at the battery. Wrapping the cable with duct tape to hold the terminal end in place is Ghetto.

Taking out a butane torch and soldering the cable and terminal end back together is saving money and not being Ghetto. It's also the correct repair short of replacing the cable.

That would depend on the car. If it were, say... a Yugo, it's ghetto to start with so no harm done.

hmmmmmm........I'd say the situation is ghetto if.........your bicycle had 26" chrome spinner wheels

In teenager talk, what you're doing is ghetto........to someone like my 63yr old father, what you're doing is smart.

Look at it this way, maybe you will start something. Maybe all of us on the board will ride our bikes now. No more f-bodies
1996 White T/A, LT-1 auto with only aftermarket Flowmasters, shift kit, and a LG Motorsports G2 cold air kit.....that's it! She can't eat all the 'Stangs but will die trying.

                        I stand corrected.

Although I love seeing some people's versions of driveway repairs on their cars. Ghetto, but at the same time, innovative.

I ride my bike everywhere I go too. I haven't put gas into or driven my car in 3 weeks. Of course my "bike" says Harley on the side and gets 45 mpg. lol
