The "Mystic" paint did not come out untill 1996. Mystic is the paint that changes color depending on how the light reflects off of it. It is not just green.

my buddy has a mystic cobra(96) hes is worked to the hilt(as much as u can for a 4v 4.6L) and makes 475ish RWHP. its a nice car but the money he spent on it would have yeilded him a 02 SS with 600hp. not to mention the car only runs 11s and 10.4 with the giggle juice

Ive told u guy's ,I just ran out cause I didnt have my wallet,Seems like a good deal and my girl loves it,it's 1 of 2000 made of the mystic green, its looks just like the picture posted above by jeff, but has 19inch black/chrome wheels, the car drove good but I really didnt hit it to hard so I couldnt compare the performace to my bird,I can probaly talk him down to 2500
Im having a hard time believing it goes 0 to 60 with in 5.2 secs with only 240 hp,But I checked many websites and reviews and they all say 5.2 1/4 13.8

I agree. It sounds like a good deal but in the long run who knows how much ur gonna have to spend on it. My mom has a 97 Mustang V6 and its already a bucket with only 100,000 miles on it.

See where i live its total mustang country. So i have plenty of friends that drive them and i gotta say they can be quite the money pits so good luck.

No bashing intended but this is my experience with mustangs.

i junked my fathers tbird after 138K, blew the headgaskets for the 3rd time and took out BOTH heads. we bought it at with 24K on it, and since 50K it made a clunk evertime u put it in gear, then the abs would just out of the blue, lock up the tires. didnt matter if u were on the brakes or not. i had to replace the t-stat, water pump(twice, what a PITA) upper and lower hoses, the cam sensor 4 times, the coil pack 5 times, the tranny would act up if it didnt have synthetic fluid. the mass air flow sensor died like 4 times. this is the second car that my father has driven less then 150K. the only other car he got rid of be4 150K was a 88 plymouth reliant(98K). now hes got a toyota solara, v6, 5spd manual blast to drive(i had to get my gf from the air port so i took his car instead of my truck) gets 30mpg and is gonna last him for atleast 200K+

I don't remember what year it was but a buddy of mine had a Cobra (same body style and the one pictured) and he had MAJOR clutch/trans problems with it. There were several factory recalls on it and he had the clutch replaced 2-3X under warranty. He eventually got rid of it when it needed the Nth clutch and the dealership told him there was no permanent fix for the problem and they'd see him again in a few thousand miles.

However, this same friend has owned mutiple Camaros (a 67, 71, and 2 4th gen SS' that I remember) as well as other performance cars and he said the Cobra did have the quickest and smoothest throttle response he could remember, when it was runnng that is...
