  • Thanks!!

I just completed several relatively major repairs to my 97 formula. Intake oil leak repair, new front seals and pan gasket, a new opti-spark and plugs and wires and a new starter. Oh and let’s throw in an issue with the PassKey II system while the repairs were going on. I want to thank everyone for their help. Your tips, helpful hits and just putting up with my whining have been invaluable. The car runs like it just rolled off the show room floor. I think my 16 year old step-son put it best when he said, “Dad your car is beast!” Hopefully I can pass on the knowledge I have gained from the experience to someone else. Again, thanks everyone.

This board is a wealth of knowledge. The best part is, not only can you learn how to fix your car, but it's a great place to just hang out as well. A real tribute to the people that make up the greatest forum on the net.

Congrats on doing the repairs yourself.

It gives you a real sense of accomplishment.

Yea and unlike most, mine leaked out the front, so that combined with a leaky water pump drive seal, spelled opti disaster. Now to clean up the underside. What a mess!!
