  • New guy checkin' in.

Hey, I'm Matt and a new guy on the site. I own a '79 Trans Am 6.6 Litre in Silver w/black interior. I bought the car from my uncle about 5-6 years ago with 12,152 miles on it. It has original paint/decals & interior. I have about 20K miles on car now. I'll try and post some pics later today. I also own a '04 Dodge SRT-4 too which is my daily driver.

Well the car was in the family so I payed about $5,000 for it from my uncle. He owned the car since 1980 with 10,000 miles on it.

It's worth about $20-25K. Not quite yet for $30K but in a couple of years it will be. I'm actually lookin' to get a '01-02 T/A WS6 6-speed or even a Firehawk next. I'm lookin' at this '01 Firehawk in my area right now with 4,400 miles on it. It's Torch Red w/stock chrome wheels, 6-speed and T-tops. They want $30,000 for it.

Good Lord that Bird is pretty!

Love the color combo. Don't see a tremendous amount of silver second gens. Actually, come to think of it... You just don't see a lot of silver Firebirds period.

                          Thanks for posting the pics.
