  • My latest project (video added)

I thought I would share a pic of my latest project. You all know I'm into R/C airplanes, I'm testing a kit that may be brought to market. It's very unique, impressive in the air, a pleasure to fly. It's only one of three in existance......... the Blue Angels, 4 FA-18s in a diamond formation. It's not 100% detailed, but getting there. It's already flown a couple of flights that were captured on video, now I need the correct cable to go to the computer. anyhow....... here it is. At any distance the carbon support rods disappear and all you see is the FA-18s.

      Looks like an electric motor.

Was it hard to get all of them aligned with each other on the rods, so it would fly straight.

What material is used for the planes? Looks fairly thick.

It's built using 6mm depron foam, cabon fiber shafts for the frame structure, brushless electric motor, lithium battery and alot of assembly time.

Not gonna happen. I got a couple of flights on it, now time for the finishing of the paint detailing, the lighting kit gets added and she goes on display...... never to fly again.

A clone will be made that will do all the flight duties.

The piano should hide that from view from the ground.
