Guys, it's more of a PITA than I thought. Got out there around noon. Couldn't find the compressor, so I gotta do everything by hand. Didn't have a fuel line removal tool so that thing has been in the way, and the intake was previously removed and CAKED with silicone. I swear to god every bolt was torqued to 70 ft lb's until it came out. Wasn't so bad up front but the 4 in the rear... wow.
Hands are all cut up and I haven't even removed the header bolts yet. I'm havin' a blast tho!!
here's where I'm at. Intake, radiator, valve covers, alternator, air intake, etc.. all removed.

I plan on having the header bolts taken out, heads removed, and the front of the motor disassembled in a couple more hours.

It's the kind of project that must be done out of love and enjoyment. Those are the only things that make up for the PITA contortions that you have to get yourself into just to be able to get to the fasteners.
