  • Oh boy, did I get blessed or what?

After the whole ordeal of dealing with the demise of the WS6, fighting with the insurance company and subsequently signing off on everything, in the end I was supposed to be sent a certificate of destruction. I had already given up and resigned myself to the fact that it was a dead issue.

Fedex delivered an envelope that contained my receipt of purchase of the car back from the insurance company. Also in there was supposed to be the certificate of destruction and I didn't get that. What I got was......

    ....ready?

    it's a shocker..................

    yep, rebuilder title.

Folks, that means the car doesn't have to be stripped and scrapped, she can be rebuilt and driven legally. Oh boy, now there are some other things to consider. I could strip every performance part, replace the stock stuff and the running car sold to a body shop or whatever. Lots to think about now..............

Not! That project is set in stone. All the suspension gets transferred, leather seats plus all kinds of extra performance stuff. The motor/trans will be the final upgrade once everything is in place to accept it.

The WS6 will be destined to go a different direction.

No, I'm not going to fix it and drive it. It's going to be sold. I can't stand to sit in it or look at it, let alone drive it once fixed. It brings back a bad memory that is tied to that individual car. I've already driven another T/A just to check the feeling and all was well.

What I will do is remove every possible performace part and put back the stock pieces that were put in storage. I'm one of those goofy people that pull off a stock part, tag it and tuck it away.
