Yeah but there no 72k mile 2000 6speed ws6 for cheaper i seen 76k mile 01 ws6 go for 16k
Still for $10k you can get a C5 or C6 Vette with your trade in and some money down and blow the doors off that T/A. After 70k miles these cars start to have problems. Just my opinion..

I would defnitely get it if i had the extra $. That sounds like a good deal to me. Mine has 84k miles on it, and the only problem it has had is the opti. You are looking at a WS6, and from what i've read the LS1's last a long time and you dont have to worry about that damn opti. I vote YES!

Thats actually pretty good. I paid $11k for mine I think. I forgot. It has 54K on the clock. Thats not to bad at all.
Really nice car. Just check everything out first. Id have your dad put it up on the lift and check it out. And look at the carfax. It could have been sold a couple times or in for service those 15 times but you never know. and mainly as long as it makes you happy get it. just my 2 pennies
97 ws6 6sp 40k miles 355 cubes strange s 60 rear 373 gears. other stuff! 360rwhp
Actually that is a good price for a WS6. I have been looking a bit too.
As for the Corvette, the cheapest C5 I have seen is about $18,000 for one in good shape. I've seen a couple of them with a lot more miles for a little less. That is almost twice the price of the WS6.
If you can afford it go for it. If you can't tell me where it is.
