Wide Ovals

My OEM tireswere old so I had no choice but to get new tires. I now have Firehawk Wide Ovals on the Hawk. Initial impression they are similar to the FZ50 EP's that came with the car but I prefer the older arrow-like tread pattern.

Tires were $173 a pice from the Firestone dealer. Hade an alignment done and have a road hazard warranty on the tires to boot $950 total

its the replacement tire for the old one. good tire.

i got goodyear f1's w speed rated on this new pup... soon as they are worn out..goodrich z force kd's will be on it.

I got a set of these when they first came out. I had the SZ-50EP's before that.

They seemed to be quieter and ride better. I couldn't tell a difference in the handling abilities. I know what you mean about the tread design. I also missed the SZ50 tread. $173/tire isn't a bad deal if that included mounting and balancing.

Anyway, it's a great tire! I really enjoyed mine!
