I was hoping for the third brake light to be on top of the roof like the original ones had them. It's what makes it stand out from the rest of the vettes (besides the fatter rear-end).

Looks like I've got some saving up to do! The ZR-1 lives!

I believe I read somewhere the rotors may be ceramic.

Something that is really peaking my interest is the engine. Rumor has it GM is working to adapt the direct injection technology to the V8 engines. Now, in the 3.6 L V6, hp jumped about 10%, from 275hp to 305 hp. This was done without adversely affecting the gas mileage or pollutants. My suspicions tell me that this new engine, possibly designated as the LS9, will not only be supercharged, as has been widely stated, but may even employ direct injection. If this is true, I would not be surprised to see this trickle down to the G8 engine (i.e GXP) and Camaro SS/Z28. On a V8, this would equate to a near 50 hp jump, without affecting GM's fleet mpg.

On the LS2, we're talkin' bout 450 hp. On the LS3, we're close to 480 hp...all NA folks!

I can't see how the 2009 cars will not be making at least 400 hp. I know we've seen 362 hp advertised for the G8 and Camaro, but I wonder if this is smoke and mirrors. The OHV engine is going to remain King of the Hill for many years to come. No replacement for torque in my mind.

Well, as long as they aren't made in china, they should be good.....Nothing worse than ceramic coated lead rotors.
