I noticed on the registration on Model says FTA. is that firebird Trans am or Formula Trans am. Mine is a Firebird Formula. What does it say on your models FTA also ??

They appear to be going strictly off your VIN. They are using the 5th position in the VIN, where "P" = Camaro, "S" = Firebird and "V" = Formula/Trans Am. GM does not differentiate between the Formula and Trans Am. You will also find the letters "WS9" on your build tag, which some GM RPO lists show as "Formula Conversion"..... but its used on both the Formulas and T/A's.Fred
