    I ran across Claude Lelouch’s Rendezvous film and all I can say is

    It's a French film ala 1971 or something like that if not earlier . If this doesn't get your blood pumping you must be a zombie

          The point of view 2 inches off the street makes it even more of an experience. Did anyone count the red lights he blew through?

              yes, that increases the effects of parallax with the pavement, making it look faster than it is, not that it's slow by any means.
