It's not the wolves' fault, it's the incompetent owners. If they knew how to handle them there wouldn't be any problems.

Just take a look at Ken. He knows everything about wolfdogs because he researched them before he ever got involved. Most owners jump in thinking "Hey I got a wolf as a pet! I hope they get along with my kids and I never have to handle them any way different than I have to with normal breeds." That's just pure ignorance.

thats our biggest prob in wolfdog rescue..money hungry breeders sell them to anyone..no home checks..no evals..nothing... they get in over their heads ....and either turn the animals over to us or let them go.

That's what I don't understand.. All breeders should have a manditory background check! But like you said: It's all about the money.
