yea same here i was flipping out i was soo upset i had to look for another site and i found it sorry f-body.com but it sucks its camaroforums.com those people on there are a bunch of arsholes!!!! you got guys talking smack on a f-body and supposidly has a mustang that did 225 on the street or something like that with 600whp i dunno its just way different from this place i almost went crazy

Just remember guys...... we've all been there at some point or another. Everyone is on a different learning point on the curve and sooner or later they all figure out that hauling butt on the streets is just plain stupid and dangerous. 600HP? so what......anyone can buy horsepower and speed. It takes a real man ( or Woman.... sorry ladies) to handle that with respect. Anyone abusing that kind of power on public streets is or just plain stupid.

this subject is very sensitive to me right now.

incident #1- i was being an idiot in my srt-4 and racing at 140 on I75 here in MI aginst an STI. Oviously i beat him but when i was slowing down for traffic he decided to try to go in bewteen the divider and a car to get to me and hit the wall doing 130+ and rolled arcoss the freeway in the air and landed in a ditch upside down then rolled back over, driver was unharmed but car totalled. Could have been terrible.

incident #2- i have a buddy named chris that owns a tranny shop uptown. he was on his way to work stopped at a light. some ahole in a 05 GTO automatic was coming the other way towards the light which was red. this was during a time when it was snowing. this moron got down on it and spun out crossed the intersection and hit chris's van totalling both cars and left both drivers injured in intensive care. chris went into a coma and when he came out went into surgery and died during surgery due to a bloodclot from his broken leg going to his brain. while this was happening the other driver was released and didnt stop to talk to chris's family he just bolted out the door. pontiac police dropped all tickets and charges on the driver of the gto for what reason i do not know. chris left behind 2 daughters and a wife.

Yeah, street racing is dumb, but most 20-years olds figure they can handle it, becasue they are super drivers- a couple years later, the reality sets in, that it ISN'T a closed course, other drivers make mistakes, and stuff breaks- with real bad problems when something goes wrong at 100+ MPH 50 feet from telephone poles or on-coming traffic-

I think guys that get arrested for this shouldn't get tickets- they should get community service picking up the pieces after fatal crashes- sweeping glass and picking up shoes with someone's foot still in it- or wiping the blood off the concrete barriers- wee what other 'super' drivers end up looking like-
