    just bought a 97 3.8 baby camaro

    I ve bought a black hardtop 30th anniversary v6 camaro A4 with the 3.8 engine and the new style dash and centre console. I must say i love it, its so smooth todrive compared to the formula, and a lot more quiet. It has been lowered by 2 inches i think, and has some stiff springs installed and 17 inch wheels. Handles really well.
    There are a couple of things that bug me, like the drum rear brakes and most importantly no limited slip diff ..it still brakes better than the formula ( there s something wrong with the brakes on the formula, and the abs is not working, tcs with it). And the tyres are too narrow for the wheels, the rims are stiching out...why would somebody to that i dont know- it came from japan by the way-...215/45/17 fronts and 235/45/17 rears; i think 245 would easily fit on the front and 265 on the rears , i ve got to investigate the brand and the size of the rims. Also it has the annoying euro folding mirrors , anyone want to swap?

              Nice ride.

              Is that a flat tire in the front or a low spot in the parking lot?
              97 Trans Am A4 more or less stock (Mods: WS6 Ram Air with Fernco & K&N, 12 disc CD changer, power antenna, SLP Fan Switch, LS1 Aluminum DS, Borla Cat back, McCord power plate, Spohn tower brace, Sirius, HID fog lights)

                The tire was flat, it just went flat in a few days, i ve pumped it up and ive not had any problems with it since then.
                I m not sure whaat brand the rims are, i think its some japanese make, but they ve put 215 on the front and 235 on the rears , which is way too small for the rims. the edges of the rims are sticking out and they have bad kerb marks on them

                      ouch, curb rash sucks. Are you going to get new rims to go with new tires? Or just live with the rashed rims?

                          I would have thought that camaro would have export tail lights also.
