Thought I would share this with yall. It's been almost 1 years since this happened and one of the members of my rescue org., who was my lead on this now famous rescue, has been asked to write a story on it. It will be appearing in some mags, we are not sure yet. Anyway, here's the story:

Beautiful animals, I am glad they got good homes. So many don't get the opportunity or caring that they deserve.

I recently adopted a small East-German Shepard, had to 'replace' a large female that was euthanized due to liver cancer. Her companion, a large, gentle male is getting on, a little over 10 years, and showing his age. I am afraid that I will be in the market again too soon-

More people need to look into rescuing dogs that need a home. They are the most loving, appreciative friends you will ever find. Keep up the good work, Ken-

they sure are good..two of our goldens are rescues, Shelby and Rocky
