Pic of My First F-Body

OK, so I was cleaning out a closet over the weekend and came across some old pictures. Among them was this gem.


1979 Formula
Charcoal Grey on White
Dark Carmine Red Interior
Olds 403, TH 350
Gold Snowflake rims

This was my first F-Body. Got her when I was 16 and drove her through HS, college and 3 years of daily driving to work in San Antonio.

Wish I still had her but she had cancer really bad. Needed new roof, floor pans and at least patch panels on all 4 lower quarters.

But here she is at her best. This picture is circa 1988/1989.

And here is a picture of my first F-body. I was 17 when I got it. I tore the 2.8 out of it and put in a 5.7. This picture was taken around 1990.

wish i had pics of my 327/350 camaro (1967) and my 68 SS 396 Chevelle.. my ex kept them and destroyed them when we spit up........... @^&(^*$^#%

best pic i have of my frist bird, it was a 83 t/a on the left, $1500 and neded 1400$ worth of work, i got hosed but i learned to work on cars thru that one. and my last bird(the 88) is on the right, $2000 with rebuilt motor/trans, needed a rear and a heater core and had 102K on it.

Great picture!

My first one was, well my current one . My first car was a V6 '78 Grand LeMans. only ~30hp difference from the TA and Camaro that year (had 185/185)
