    Man let me be the first to thank you for the many hours you put in keeping this board a great place to hang out. That's one reason I had no problem with donating to the "Joe's hurricane relief fund". LOL While I'm at it let me get a thanks in to Ken, Norm, Fred, Dave and JR for keeping the site up and hosting it. I'd also like to give an honorable mention to Rob and his website http://shbox.com/page/index.html . Hey Rob can you buy a C5?

    Just a thought that came to mind caused by another thread;

    My grandmother told me one day "When I was young everybody used to ask me questions and I thought I knew everything. Now I am old and I really do know everything and nobody asks me anything anymore." There is a wisdom that comes as we age. You can't replace it with schooling either. A truly wise young person is one who listens to the older people.

          I got to thinking about why I do this.

          I'll tell you why. When I got my F-body, this was a wealth of knowledge with an honor system in it's way of posting. It dramatically helped my learning curve when jumping out of Vettes and into F-bodies again. When my divorce hit me , this place was an outlet. When the hurricanes kicked my arse, these members kept me inspired. When I was forced off the road and lost my WS6, you folks helped get me back on the road again.

          So no thanks is needed for what I do, I say thanks to all of you.

              I second what was said above. This is a wealth of knowledge. Though I'll never know it all, I'm a damn site more educated on f-body's than I was before I happened to stumble across this site. Though we come from all walks of life and cross several generations, the camaraderie is unlike that found anywhere else. Keep it up guys; you are appreciated even though it may not seem like it at times.

                I've belonged to several forums over the years, and still do. I have a lot of different interests, so I visit many sites. The difference is the quality of people here, and the way the site is run. This is the only forum I've visited where people don't seem to hide behind their keyboards and flame wars aren't starting in every thread (in any for that matter).

                Several of the forums I belong to have the admins starting and getting into these flame wars!

                Even though the admins here are too humble to accept thanks, I thank you anyway. You'rte a big reason why, even well after I sold my f-body, I am still a regular here... and always will be.

                    Being an admin is so much fun. Just like babysitting sometimes, it all depends on the kids you are wathcing! LOL.
                    My hats off to all moderators and owners of all these sites, it is often a thankless task.
