  • Let the Mods begin...

I'll work out the details on the 08 Vette Monday and arrange shipping.

    http://i11.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/de/07/8fb1_3.JPG

I am starting a list of mods...

    1) Skip shift eliminator
    2) Stainless steel exhaust plate
    3) Cat back exhaust
    4) Air Intake
    5) Tint the windows

3 and 4 may have to wait a while until I replenish some funds..

Any others suggestions that don't void the warranty?

Now the next issue is do I keep my Formula? My Daughter will be 17 this summer and will be getting her license, but I'm in agreement with my wife.. That is way too much power for her....

Problem is the Formula isn't worth much, so unless you ned the $5k or are tired of maintaining it and paying insurance on it and need the room, might as well keep it. And no way your 17 y/o daughter should be driving it.

As Kevin already stated, the Formula is not worth enough money to sell. I have the same issue with my Camaro. Oh well, it will look good in the garage next to the Corvette. I'm also going to continue modding it.

And I agree with the others, no way a 17 year old girl should be in the drivers seat of the formula unsupervised.

I guess I'm not supposed to get a corvette... The deal fell through because of the emissions options on the car per GM...

                    Gary,

From reading the email that you sent with the gm link it would appear that you are correct. The Corvette has FE9 emissions which are not allowed in New York.
The only other way we could get you a Vette is to order you one with the correct emissions. I appologize for the mix up. Let me know what you think.

                    Thanks,
                    Nick Brenengen

                    Hi Nick,

See the attached link from GM. It looks like this can not be registered in NY with out a NE1 order code...

Bummer.. This looks new for 2008... Gary
