Classic Warcraft to Fly Over DC Thursday April 10, 2008
(Washington, DC) -- This Thursday, four historic airplanes will fly over the DC region to honor U.S. airmen who died during World War Two. The flyover is set for April 10th at about 1:15 p.m. The planes - a Flying Fortress, a Mustang, a Kittyhawk and a Spitfire - will take off from Andrews Air Force base, and then circle the Air Force Memorial near the Pentagon before returning to Andrews. The event is sponsored by the Boeing Company.
