I feel a small vent coming here. My wife and I don't make a huge amount of money. About 60k each. The cost of living here is not exactly cheap. The house payment is almost $2000 a month for a 2200 square foot house. The only reason I have a Corvette is because it came from an inherited stock fund. Food for 5 people cost over $1000 a month. Add gas, electricity, bla ba bla and we live paycheck to paycheck. Between the state taxes, federal taxes, car tag taxes, and property tax we paid over $29,000 in taxes last year. That is about 25% of our GROSS income. If a democrat gets elected they have already promised to RAISE that amount but letting the Bush tax cuts expire. I am ready for another Boston Tea party. I am sick and tired of the government taking my money for their pet pork barrel projects like a bridge to nowhere in Alaska which by the way they cancelled the project but the state still got the money allotted for the bridge and to pay people who sit on their A$$ refusing to work because they made too many bad decisions and had too many kids they couldn't afford. This country NEEDS the fair tax. I need the fair tax because $30,000 is not a FAIR tax.
